Look How It Starts To Work Altogether

Calm, clean and soothing, I love polished concrete!

Polished Concrete Galore

This is the double bath...two separate fiber glass tubs - extra long - encased in polished concrete. Concrete framed mirrors painted in silver continue Tracey's glam factor! Note the double showers, frosted glass sliding doors to the right lead into the walk in closet.

The Guest Room head board/room divider/desk/coffee bar on reverse and bed base in polished concrete.

In the kitchen, a wine fridge created out of polished concrete shelving.
(I must get a closer shot...)

The dining room table, a 30 mm slab of glass on a stylized concrete W
(I promise better pictures sooner than later as these are just as Trace was moving in.)

What you build when......

You come from the UK and want nothing more to do with grey or tudor influences and you want a party house!

Construction here is basically all concrete and brick a bit more major to adjust when you change your mind. Friend Tracey trustingly let me remove two concrete staircases that looked like fire escapes. A beautiful two story space just cried out for the sweep of a semi circular stair.

Visions of the Chatelaine gliding down the stairs with maribou trim on her satin slippers to pick a breakfast mango from the tree in the garden danced through our heads.  I won't ruin the staircase picture with the description of the realities of life!

Her stairway to the stars leads to the master bedroom from the very large dressing room. It then continues on to the roof garden.

The White House in Phuket

This is the spot where the party for Dad is planned. My great friend Tracey has yet to have had a big party in her house so it seemed a good idea to try it out. We have been tweaking and adding as budgets permit. The easiest addition has been accent paint colours to walls that  reflect Tracey's vibrant personality. The office has the perfect golden orange matched to the comet fish in the 2 meter square tank dividing the office and living area. This picture is not great, (pictures are not hung and upholstery not complete) but it does convey the colour.
