Hampstead Heath Glimpses

Fall coming to the Hampstead Heath.
Hampstead Heath is one of London's most ancient and largest parks encompassing 790 acres.
Located just 6 kilometres from Trafalgar Square, it is a favourite spot of Londoners for walking.
There are over twenty - five ponds on various parts of the heath. The swimming ponds are open
all year.

Willow Cottages - Hampstead London

Back in London...these rather sweet, now terribly expensive cottages near  Hampstead Heath
were originally homes to watercress harvesters from the ponds on the heath.

Very hard to find orange in my pictures of Egypt unless the camera has done it.
The painted decor on the temples of Luxor still has tinges of orange after thousands of years.
