About the only design fixture I really miss from the colder climes is a fireplace. Even when it is warm in the summer on the beach a fire in the evening is not only pretty but somehow floods one with a secure feeling.
I have been researching, thinking of the barge project and even my own patio in the tropics, here are some of the results available. The flexibility of these designs are really amazing.
