New Year's Eve here?

This restaurant in Krakow was another fabulous cosmopolitan and borscht soup spot! What more do you need to celebrate the New Year?! (even the washrooms were good!)

I have a feeling....

With all the snow in Europe this Christmas Krakow's spires and ornate facades would simply look magical!

What would you do if this was under your tree?

This fun advertising campaign was underway when we visited Krakow...the bumff says they were auctioned off  for charity........I do wonder what people did with them once purchased.

Dirty Pinks

I love that description... used recently in a post of fabulous fashions....this took me back yet again to Krakow's wonderful old architecture. Somehow the crumbly ones describe the tone best.

Better Late then Never...well maybe...

Somehow my nod to Armistice Day on November 11th was lost by the wayside so before it is too late....
Graduating young military men in Krakow...these were my favorite of course, it's the band!
Great dress outfits!

Looking Up in Krakow, France and London

In Europe it is hard to not look up! Chandeliers in all shapes sizes and styles decorate ceilings!

From the train station in Krakow in three different sizes.....

To the awe inspiring crystals of Chateau de Chantilly

To the Krawkow tearoom's folk inspired coloured glass....

and back to France and some fun at a little chateau just out of town and The Bon Marche....

 Only in a Paris driveway.....

Finally London's Anthropolgie takes on the classic!
