Some Friday mornings and even some Monday mornings don't you just want to stay in bed?

The living area over the stream technically is not a bed but would be magic to sleep in...it is difficult to chose where one would love to hide under the duvet.

All the Best Bedrooms Contest

There are some glorious bedrooms pictured for the contest but none to date with the use of polished concrete have been pictured and I imagine not too many will. Here in the tropics polished concrete is a very easy surface to maintain, bugs don't like eating it, dogs, kids and maids find it hard to damage.

This particular bed has great object and book storage created
by the easy sitting surrounding ledge.  No need for bedskirts and too many heavy folds of fabrics as the
insects do love to nest  in soft dark folds.
