Back to Laos and The Belle Rive

This lovely little boutique hotel on banks of the Mekong was an inspired choice as it turns out.
The Belle Rive is perfectly located to walk everywhere in the wonderful little town of Luang Prabang, the charm and fabulous breakfasts made our stay. Located in three beautifully restored homes dating from the twenties, it is truly unique.

Hello Heather:
This is, but you already know it, absolutely charming and exactly the kind of hotel in which we should choose to stay. We love the exterior with its white painted walls and blue shutters - so very, very pretty.

And the interior looks stylishly simple, cool and inviting. Who wants a Hilton or such like when this is available? Lucky you!

Oh you stayed there? We stopped for a tea and a coffee in their riverside cafe/seating area and vowed we'd stay there next time. Now, when can I get there again?
