Chinese New Year and Valentines!
Two of Phillip Starck's latest pieces are sure to become design icons of this coming decade. The stackable Mi Ming chair created in collaboration with Eugeni Quitllet has one of the most gracious and ancient chair shapes reinterpreted as only Mr. Starck can do. Pictured here with the Chinese red accent colour, they would be perfect in my house, but the white and silver colour options are just as stunning! I am trying to decide if the Mr. Starck's bonze stools are creepy or cool....anyway they are the best Chinese New Year-Valentine's red around!

I love the red lip on this lucite chair! It's almost...scandalous looking. I can imagine it in a really white or otherwise neutral room, where all you see is that sliver of red. Lauren
