London Days

Every time I travel to London I have a vision of long days spent in galleries and museums finishing fireside at some cosy pub while the rain drives down outside the doors. This idea of mine has not yet
been fulfilled. I have encountered the most brilliant fall weather every visit these past few years.

    

Lost in London

I thought my blogging would improve being here, in London with only myself to look after.
Combined with my sad computer skills and a new lap top ummmmm.......

Somehow it hasn't gone that way at all. DD#1 was selling her flat some styling met with success!

Reward and Effect in our Thai Village

A bit of a new program for the village children...picking up a bag of litter before you swim!
It appears to be appreciated by all of the village locals, the nearby shop gave each child
a cool drink as they went about their work....not sure ice tea is what they
will pick next time though....

Phuket Colours

The upholstery arrived and the whole room ( as I sadly suspected it might) looked spotty so....
from light to dark.... it's slowly coming together!

Contemporary Take of a Classic in Phuket

Reading this morning the Devoted Classicist's essay on La Fiorentina I had to smile when I saw the beautiful courtyard and its pattern on the floor. Here are pictures of my finished contemporary take of  a bit of the same...I do however prefer La Fiorentina...the pinky coral colour with the grey chevron is perfect....it may also have a lot to do with the architecture too! Jackson and Frankie in Phuket

August always seems to be a month of comings and goings. This past week was no exception.
DD#3 brought home two abandoned babies found on her run...and then headed out to Singapore
for three days! Upon her return she had a photo shoot with her babies and promptly found a home
for these two unlikely looking little brothers, meet Jackson and Frankie.

It was a very hot afternoon, the village children begged for a swim...
ah, to be a kid again, once more through the door...

Phuket has the Endless Summer

Rather an endless summer here in Phuket, return of sons from cooler climes brought dd#3 to the beach to snap some shots! I noticed these wonderfully custom coloured surfboards on designboom.
